Competitive dance programs are designed for the dedicated dancer. These classes offer a more intense training in various dance styles. Dancers will be challenged to reach their potential while learning teamwork and sportsmanship in both team dynamics and solo/duo/trio performances. Competitive dance will teach discipline and build self esteem while participating in both competitions and local dance events around the community. This will also prepare those dancers who wish to pursue a career in dance. Selection for competitive team members will be done through an audition process.
Recreational programs offer the dancer a fun and safe environment to learn dance techniques while developing confidence, passion, and discipline. Dancers will prepare and perform a routine in our annual dance recital. Our little dancers ages 2 -3 start in a beginner ballet class once a week. Dancers four and older may choose from a variety of classes offered. Each discipline will have one class per week for the school term.
Summer classes and programs offer students the ability to sample styles of dance over a 6 to 8 week period. Summer dance camps will be offer a full week of extensive dance training in either recreational and/ or competitive levels.
